Phoeniq International Co. believes in the philosophy that all accidents and consequent losses are preventable by conscious efforts towards safety in every activity undertaken by individuals. The Company works in different areas and in different situations in Kuwait with a multinational work force. Hence, it is imperative on our part to understand that the life and safety of our Employees and Contractors are paramount and play a very vital and guiding role in our Business.

We at Phoeniq encourage the development and implementation of the Field Safety Program.The purpose of this Program is to;

  • Ensure the safety of our employees by providing effective safety training and maintaining safe work conditions.
  • Maintain high production standards by reducing the direct and indirect cost associated with jobsite accidents.
  • Comply with applicable Local, International safety standards.

We are aware that our employees are our greatest asset and the key to our Company's profitability. We are also aware that accidents have a deteriorating effect on not only the morale of our personnel but also our ability to provide a quality product at a reasonable cost. Phoeniq conducts its operation in a manner that ensures the safety of its customers, employees, and general public as well as protecting its property. The following are basic, but not all-inclusive,responsibilities assigned to each workers classification to ensure our corporate program's success.

  • Conduct each day's work assignment in a professional, workmanlike manner with regard to the safety of yourself, your co-worker, and preservation of company property.
  • Review, acknowledge, and comply with all company work rules. Report any injury and unsafe condition to your supervisor immediately.
  • Use the Personal Protective Equipment necessary for any assigned tasks.
  • Assist in accident/incident investigation when requested
  • Attend/participate in employee training programs.
  • Inspect all powered and mobile equipment to ensure all required guards are in place and, if so equipped, safety devices are functional before machine start-up.
  • Inform your supervisor, immediately, if you are unsure about performing a work assignment or operating tools/equipment.

QUALITY

Providing quality services is first at Phoeniq. Through open lines of communication with our clients and a clear definition of project requirements, We ensure an uncompromising commitment to quality on each and every project. Phoeniq has established a documented “Quality Management System” to control the quality of its projects by writing "execution plans" tailored to meet the requirements of the client and that particular project. Each project is unique in its requirements and as such it is very difficult to categorize these requirements into standard procedures. A practical and efficient way of improving quality is for individuals to fix problems on the spot rather than wait for someone else to correct the problem. This initiative is continuously encouraged.

Today, all of our operational divisions are "audited" by Internal auditors time to time to ensure compliance with those procedures and with the customer's contract terms and conditions. Efforts are being started so as to hold a ISO Class Quality Assurance System through a reputed accreditation authority. Every Phoeniq staff member is responsible for the quality of his/her work irrespective of the type of project organization of departmental activity. Phoeniq Quality Management Program includes the following vital components:

  • Clear and concise definition of client requirements and specifications
  • Consistent communication between client and Phoeniq
  • Continuous review of client and project requirements and specifications
  • Intentional preventive actions that foresee and divert the occurrence of adverse effects and problems
  • Project completion and client satisfaction achieved with prudent decisions and professional Standards and ethics
